Power in Partnerships: A Different Kind of “Thank You”

This year, in place of our annual Awards Luncheon, we chose to do something a little different and a lot more personal. As part of our two-year campaign, Power in Partnerships, we wanted to lean fully into what that message means. Rather than hosting a single event, we took our gratitude on the road, meeting directly with our largest workplace supporters where they are. These visits ranged from large team gatherings to small, intimate conversations, each one offering a unique opportunity to connect.

Stepping outside of our downtown Pocatello office not only gave us the chance to experience the beauty of Idaho, but more importantly it allowed us to build stronger, more meaningful relationships. In a time when so much communication happens digitally, these face-to-face moments reminded us of the value of simply being human together. These conversations opened the door for deeper understanding. Our partners asked reflective questions, gained insight into the work, and strengthened their role as advocates. Not just for their organizations, but for the wellbeing of our entire community.

The Community Awards are presented to corporate partners who might or might not make the Fabulous 15 but show up for United Way of Southeastern Idaho and their communities without having a second thought. This allows us to highlight the many ways impact can take shape:
