Our Work

Our Work

The United Way of Southeastern Idaho builds powerful partnerships that improve outcomes for children, families, & individuals in need.

Our ‘Why’ starts with ALICE. We believe that every SE Idahoan should have the opportunity to obtain a solid education, leading to a financially stable, healthy life that improves the social fabric of our community.

To do this, we carry out our mission of building powerful partnerships that improve outcomes for children, families, and individuals in need.

We carry out our mission in four main ways:

  1. By investing community fund dollars in vital and innovative community programs as well as in promising cradle to career educational strategies and programs.

  2. By serving as a backbone organization to strengthen our human services nonprofit partners in order to drive change via a collective impact model

  3. By educating the community on the greatest needs and being ALICE’s biggest advocate to make sure our community has the right programs, policies, and data in place to help ALICE thrive.

  4. By engaging and mobilizing donors and volunteers to help create a SE Idaho where everyone can thrive.
