At United Way of Southeastern Idaho, we serve ALICE families and individuals – those who are above the poverty level but do not make enough to make ends meet. ALICE is at the heart of everything we do as we create powerful partnerships to improve education, health, financial security, and develop community-led solutions to fill in the gaps of need.
Read Talk Play is a successful initiative in American Falls and Pocatello-Chubbuck that encourages parents to read, talk, and play with their children every day. It is designed to help parents help their children develop communication skills, relational skills, emotional skills, and the vocabulary to help them be successful in school and, most importantly, in life.
